Paper as our canvas… thats so last year! Why not introduce your pupils to palm painting! This high quality resource is ready to roll now to your classes NOW and further more can be used in future years, not just as a great lock down task. Pupils have a core and a challenge task which allows for differentiation whether in a class or across a keystage. The core task is to have a go at some finger doodling. Pupils are encouraged to use their imagination and limited materials. An example has been provided. The challenge task asks pupils to create a palm painting. There are artist work provided as a starting point and a brief history of either the artist or the work to provide historical reference. Pupils also have the chance to join in with the hashtag #high5fortheNHS through this task. Take a look… I know you will love it!

They are also provided with a core and challenge task that allows for differentiation whether set for a class or as a keystage task. The core task asks pupils to become the painting. Positive affirmations are a powerful way to help both children and adults develop a mind set of positivity and success. In a world of growing pressures and challenges our pupils need support in developing and boosting their well being, self-esteem and confidence and these little reminders are a great way to help them start their day right! This high quality printable can be made in to affirmation bracelets by simply printing off, applying a length of double sided sticky tape down one side and then trimming in to the quote strips! your bracelets can be left on your desk in a jar which pupils can help themselves to or even have them attached to your door (so that pupils can tear them off themselves). This way you can even reach out and share that positive vibe with pupils you may not even teach. Spread the love, spread the creativity.
